Import ballot

Import a ballot previously exported from the Dashboard using Ballot actions → Export ballot.

This creates a new ballot from from the imported file. No votes are imported.

After importing, you'll be taken to the Edit Ballot page to review and customize before publishing.

What gets imported:
Ballot name and description.
One or more contests with candidates, number or rankings and number or winners.
If the ballot contains multiple contests, the name and description of each contest.
No votes or ballot options will be imported. New ballot options, such as the voting schedule and voter verification method, may be chosen when the file is imported.
